Information about the different accommodations

I have made a map over Luleå with notations and directions for all sorts of things. Among them where the different accommodations are located. Look for the addresses in the lefthand sidebar.

Väderleden 3A, 3C, 9 and 11 are located in the area of Björkskatan, 25 minutes by foot from the university.

Vänortsvägen 8, 10 and 14 are located in the area of Porsön, 15 minutes by foot from the university.

You also find directions for walking, biking and driving in the map.

Is there any way to choose the accommodation? I mean, to get the cheapest possible...

I also would like to know if we'll be able to choose our accommodations.

Is there a wardrobe for clothes? Besides a bed, desk, chair and a bookcase?

I would like to know if towels, sheets and pillow cases are provided or if we should bring some.

There are no towels, sheets, pillow cases, pillows or duvets included. Most exchange students choose to buy it in Luleå because it takes a lot of space to bring. Recommended stores are Jysk and Hemtex. Below are the lowest prize (in SEK) for the different items that I could find at these two stores. Hemtex is located in the city centre while Jysk is in a shopping area outside of town. You find them on the map.

Yes, there is a wardrobe.

It is not possible to directly choose your accommodation. You can leave your preferences in the application for accommodation but it is way to late now. I assigned the accommodations in June.

Could you tell me how big are the appartments and rooms at Vänortsvägen 8?

The rooms are 9 sq. meters.

How big the common area is I am not sure but I estimate it to be 35 sq. meters, including the two bathrooms.

This apply to all shared apartments at Vänortsvägen 8, 10 and 14.
