Joining orientation without the language part? Empty Joining orientation without the language part?

So I didn't choose the orientation in the learning agreement because I didn't feel I need the language course offered there, but could it still be possible to take part on the other activities?
I understood that the orientation would basically have been an intense language course with teaching of the culture, so I felt uninterested in it, but it seems like it is more than that.
